Notice regarding public right to inspection of unaudited Annual Governance and Accountability Return for 2022-23

    This notice gives details of the period during which the accounting records relating to the unaudited accounts of Charlton Kings Parish Council for the financial year 2022-23 will be available for public inspection. It also includes a summary of the rights of members of the public in relation to the Council's accounting records.

    The 2022-23 accounting records will be available for inspection at the Parish Office, 26 Church Street, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham, GL53 8AR from Monday, 5th 2023 to Friday, 14th July 2023. Any inspection is subject to prior arrangement with the Clerk.     This is the Annual Governance and Accountability Return for the financial year 2022-23. It has not yet been subject to external audit. Once the external auditor, PKF Littlejohn, has conducted its audit and produced its Notice of Conclusion of Audit, this will be uploaded to the website.

Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) - 2022-23

Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding is an allocation made to the Parish Council by Cheltenham Borough Council in relation to certain property developments within the Parish. It can be spent by the Parish Council on particular types of infrastructure. The Parish Council must submit an annual statement to Cheltenham Borough Council, setting out how any CIL funds have been spent, and also publish this report on its website.
