Free Sustainable Living Workshop - Home Energy

Free Sustainable Living Workshop - Home Energy

Wed, 01 Jun 2022 19:00

Wednesday 1st June, 7pm - 9pm

With smart meters installed in many homes there is a lot of information potentially available on how much domestic gas and electricity we use. But how much do we use this information and what can we do with it?

We will look at the key appliances in a home that use most electricity and how to reduce that, comparing experiences of lower energy alternatives. We will share benchmarks on annual domestic gas consumption for different houses and families; exploring what drives this and how we can therefore reduce our heating bills.

Local residents with experience of technologies such as heat pumps and solar will share their experience of these.

Visit Eventbrite or email ckfutures@charltonkingsparishcouncil.gov.uk to register for this session.
