Police Point

Fri, 30th Jan 2026 11:00 - 12:00

A drop-in opportunity for anyone to come and speak to the Police with questions or concerns.

The aim of the Police Point is to improve access to the Police and maintain the two-way communication with the Community. These conversations will assist local Police in identifying potential crime and disorder problems in the Parish and setting area priorities, as well as forwarding information to other services where necessary. This is not meant to replace a Police Station but is a tool that facilitates a face-to-face contact for people who want to speak to a local Police Officer.

The Police are one of the key partners of the Parish Council and share our aims of making Charlton Kings a safe place to live and work.

The Police Point will be open from 11am – 12pm on the following dates subject to Police Officer availability

The Air We Breathe

Sat, 7th Mar 2026 14:00 - 16:00

A free drop-in event exploring everyday pollution, the real health impacts, and what we can do about it.

Air pollution affects all of us. This free event is a chance to learn more about what air pollution actually is, what local data tells us about Charlton Kings and Cheltenham, and how it impacts our health day to day.

The afternoon will include informal discussion tables, practical support and the 'Air Quality Action Room' where you can find out all about air quality monitoring, what the local data tells us, and what we can do about it. You'll also be able to hear about projects already happening in Charlton Kings, and pick up simple, realistic ideas for reducing pollution in everyday life.

There will also be opportunities to talk directly with people working on clean air locally - including schools, community groups and council representatives - and to find out about support around active travel, school journeys and small changes that can help.

PLUS... on-the-spot bike repairs will be available outside!
