Parish Walking Maps
In Charlton Kings we are fortunate enough to have an abundance of interesting and picturesque walks right on our doorstep. Charlton Kings Parish Council has been working on a project to map some of these magnificent walks across the parish. We are pleased to present the first batch of maps which all show circular walking routes around the local area. Each of the walks are graded easy, medium and hard taking into account time & terrain. Walkers will be able to explore a mix of urban and rural areas making use of the well-known footpaths and perhaps discovering some of the lesser-known Rights of Way.
Residents and visitors to Charlton Kings are able to download the maps from our website. Over the next few weeks, the maps will also be made available via electronic signposting on our noticeboards. If you wish to print the maps, we recommend printing them double sided, flipping along the short edge. The maps can then be folded into a trifold leaflet.
A paper version of the maps will also be available from our office in Church Piece.

Next steps
We are working on more walking maps to add to the collection, which will be released following the initial trial, so please check back here for updates. Keep an eye on our social media pages too.
As this is a new initiative, we would really like to hear from you if you use one of our maps. We are looking for constructive feedback so that we can make the maps as useful and informative as possible.
We also want to hear from you if you have any suggestions for local walks.
Please email deputy@charltonkingsparishcouncil.gov.uk with your comments or recommendations.
