Allotments Reminder

A reminder to all allotment tenants. if anyone does not wish to continue with their allotment from 1st April 2018, the deadline for advising the office is this Wednesday 31st January. This enables us to re-let plots in good time for the start of the growing season. if we do not receive notice of termination by this date, tenants will be invoiced for the full year starting on 1st April.

Local ATC Cadets Win Logo Competition

In April 2018 the Cheltenham branch of the Royal Air Forces Association will be holding an exhibition to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Royal Air Force.

Christmas Fayre

Fun was had by all on Friday 8th December at the Christmas Fayre. Father Christmas turned on the lights on Church Piece and entertainment was provided by Scarrotts Funfair, the Coady Crew Dance Group and by choirs from Charlton Kings Infants and Junior Schools and St Edward's Preparatory School. Winners of the Christmas Tree competition

A big thank you to all the children at local primary and nursery schools who entered the "Christmas Star" competition. Many stars were decorated to adorn the tree, supplied by Dowdeswell Forestry in Andoversford. The winning entry was given pride of place at the top of the tree. Footbridge to Cox's Meadow: good news

Gloucestershire Highways have stated that a replacement bridge is available and funds have been put in place to enable the work to go ahead. A contractor is actively being sought to carry out the work. No date is available, but the signs are promising for an early solution.

County, Borough and Parish councillors continue to press Gloucestershire Highways for an early date for the repair of the footbridge. It's very disappointing to have to report that the safety barriers are still being tampered with or taken down. Annual Audit completed

The external audit of the accounts to 31st March 2017 was completed on 25th August. The Annual Return can be seen below and the Notice of Conclusion of Audit gives details of arrangements for inspection of the accounts.
