The Parish Council has been working with local businesses to create a 'Switch on to Christmas at Sixways' event over the Christmas period. Gloucestershire County Council have launch the Ash Dieback Project to start to tackle the effects of Ash Dieback within the county. The immediate concern is to protect users of the Highway and County Council land from the danger posed by numerous dying trees. Following the end of the recent COVID-19 lockdown, all Parish Office staff are working their normal hours in the Parish Office from 3rd December 2020.

Gloucestershire Highways have announced the planned road closure of Harp Hill from the junction with Greenway Road to the junction with Hales Road from 15th December to 17th December, to allow for drainage repairs.
