Annual Parish Meeting and Community Open Meeting - 13th May 2019
The Annual Parish Meeting and Community Open Meeting will take place on Monday, 13th May 2019 from 7.00 pm. Refreshments will be served from 6.30 pm and residents of the Parish are warmly invited to attend.
Rob Williams, Chair of the Parish Council, will make an annual report on progress of the Charlton Kings Parish Plan in 2018/19 and major projects for 2019/20.
Presentations will be made to last year's recipients of the Parish Council's community grants.
There will also be an opportunity for you to raise anything you feel is relevant to our parish, and particularly to contribute your thoughts and opinions on three important areas:
• Loneliness and vulnerability We will report on our working group's progress since the last Open Meeting in October and seek your views on our recent work with the NHS.
• Climate change Following the declaration of a climate emergency by Cheltenham Borough Council, we would like your input as we explore setting up a Parish Council environmental group.
• The Kings Hall and Grange Field We have reported on our ambitious plans to rejuvenate the Kings Hall and Grange Field as community assets in previous columns. We are setting up a number of focus groups so your ideas can be fed into our plans.
