Community Open Meeting with a focus on Climate Change - Wednesday, 23rd October 2019 at 7.30 pm -

The next Charlton Kings Community Open Meeting will take place on Wednesday, 23rd October 2019 from 7.30 pm. Refreshments will be served from 7.00 pm and residents of the Parish are warmly invited to attend.

Following Cheltenham Borough Council's recent declaration of a Climate Emergency, we have decided to focus on Climate Change at the Community Open meeting. We hope to draw on local residents' enthusiasm, help and ideas in moving things forward and potentially developing a Parish Council Environmental Group.

At our last Community Open Meeting, in May 2019, we discussed local issues such as flooding, traffic, green spaces and recycling and we hope to draw further on interests, knowledge and expertise of local residents to make Charlton Kings a leader in environmental sustainability but identifying the small but important actions that it can take itself and also encourage others to implement.

This is an opportunity for residents of Charlton Kings to raise anything that they feel is relevant to our parish, and we very much hope that lots of you will be able to attend the meeting.

For further information, contact the Parish Office on 01242 250087 or clerk@charltonkingsparishcouncil.gov.uk
