Guideposts Information Service
Since March, the Guideposts Information Service have been supporting people through the Covid-19 pandemic by providing a helpline service for those struggling with stress, uncertainty and practical difficulties. Their popular 'Stay Connected' web pages have provided 100s of ideas of ways to stay socially connected and active from home.
The Guideposts Information Service (GIS) is a free emotional support, information and signposting service, for people struggling with mental health issues, who need support in a crisis or are experiencing social isolation.
The GIS helpline is primarily a preventative service and aims to support people before they reach the point of crisis. They provide confidential, non-judgemental and empathic emotional support, so people can gain better control of their own lives and wellbeing.
The free helpline is available Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm on 0800 048 7035
