Working to support our community

Community Open Meeting - Thursday 18th November

Community Open Meeting - Thursday 18th November

Families and young people have had a tough time over the last 18 months, due to the impact of home schooling and anxieties about the future. Join us on the 18th November in the Stanton Hall for information on how we are engaging with young people in Charlton Kings post-pandemic, and share with us your ideas and opinions about what more needs to be done. The first half of the evening is a series of short presentations from local organisations who are working with children and feedback from the Young People's Survey conducted by the Parish Council in collaboration with Balcarras School. The second half of the evening is a chance for attendees to discuss the results of the Survey and share their ideas around how the community as a whole can support our young people. Please join us and bring your experiences, ideas and knowledge to the conversation. This meeting is all about giving young people a voice so please do feel free to bring your children along too. Come early to meet your friends, neighbours, and local Councillors! Refreshments available from 6.30pm. We look forward to seeing you.
