Grange Field environmental planting project - consultation with residents

Consultation with residents - until Monday, 10th October 2022

We have asked a local landscape architect to produce some plans showing an environmental planting scheme at the southern end of Grange Field. The draft designs were displayed at our Autumn Fayre on Saturday, 24th September 2022 and had a positive response from residents.

Hard copies of the designs will be available in the Parish Office until Monday, 10th October 2022 and can be viewed during our usual opening hours 10.00 am to 2.00 pm each weekday. We also hope to upload the designs to our website very shortly. Charlton Kings residents are very welcome to view the designs and provide their feedback using the hard copy "feedback forms" that will be available.

There will also be a "drop-in" session at Moosh in Church Piece, Charlton Kings from 10.30 to 12.00 noon on Wednesday, 28th September when residents can get further information about the proposals, ask questions and provide their comments.

Get involved!

We are very keen to hear from local people who would like to get involved with the environmental project. So if you are a whizz with a wheelbarrow, handy with a hammer, or skilled with a spade we want to know! Please contact our Community Development Officer (Anna Macfadzean) in the Parish Office, by telephone on 01242 250087 or by email on if you would like to get involved.
