ROAD CLOSURE - Ryeworth Road 10-11 Feb 2026

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 490040 RYEWORTH ROAD (CHARLTON KINGS PARISH)
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 490040 Ryeworth Road from outside of the property known as 'No.3 Little Ashley Court' to outside of the property known as 'No.6 Ryeworth Road' for a distance of approximately 45 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water. The said road is expected to be closed between 19:00hrs on 10th February 2026 to 06:00hrs on 11th February 2026 or until the works have been completed. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
