The Charlton Kings Christmas Event returns again this year for an afternoon of festive fun. It will take place from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm on Friday, 6th December 2019 at Church Piece, Charlton Kings.

In recent months, there has been a serious upsurge in anti-social behaviour around Church Piece and the Croft allotment site, which has destroyed property and seriously frightened and upset our more elderly residents. This recently escalated to damage in the cemetery and serious misbehaviour and abuse of parishioners actually inside St Mary's church.

Charlton Kings Parish Council has signed up to the Woodland Trust's Tree Charter, joining many councils across the country in pledging support for its aims of protecting, promoting and planting trees in our community.
A number of events will take place on Saturday, 30th November 2019 which is Tree Charter Day. Full details can be found on our Environment page.

The much-loved water rill feature was installed as part of the CK 2000 improvements to Church Piece. The mosaic designs were created by Balcarras students at that time, and feature an imaginative collection of frogs, a clock, leaves, and water creatures.

A FREE Community First Aid Course will be held in the Stanton Hall in Charlton Kings from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm on Saturday, 9th November 2019. It will cover CPR, helping an unconscious casualty and using a defibrillator. All welcome.
