Charlton Kings Parish Council is currently inviting tenders for the seasonal management of three grassland assets - our allotments, Grange Field and St Mary's churchyard. Tenders may be submitted for one, two or all three sites.

All tenders must be received by 5.00 pm on Monday, 9th March 2020.

Closure of Aggs Hill in Charlton Kings from 27th January 2020 for tree felling

We have been notified by Gloucestershire County Council that part of Aggs Hill from its junction with Harp Hill to its junction with Puckham Scrubs Lane will be temporarily closed from 27th January 2020. The reason for the closure is tree felling for public safety. A copy of the closure notice and map are attached.

The attached public path diversion order was made on the 7th January 2020. The notice was advertised in the Gloucestershire Echo on Thursday 16th January and posted on site on the same day where it will remain for 28 days.

Closure of St Mary's Churchyard for New Burials

A notice is attached from the Secretary of State for Justice, acting on an application from St Mary's Church, for closure of St Mary's Churchyard for new burials.
