Local police are warning residents to be wary of people offering services door-to-door and unannounced after a local man was scammed out of £1500 for a 10 minute gardening job.
The elderly gentleman was approached by two men on the morning of Thursday 3rd September. Although a sum of £100 was agreed for the gardening work, the men then demanded £1500.

This road will be closed from Monday 14th September until Thursday 17th September 2020 between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs to allow for resurfacing maintenance work by Gloucestershire County Council.
Emergency access will be maintained.
