This month they offer advice on how to spot a Covid-19 vaccine scam as well as information on romance scams. They also introduce their new rural crime section on their website and the new #DrugsKnowMore campaign - a campaign which is soon to be launched and is designed by young people for young people.

Gloucestershire County Council have launch the Ash Dieback Project to start to tackle the effects of Ash Dieback within the county. The immediate concern is to protect users of the Highway and County Council land from the danger posed by numerous dying trees. The general consensus currently is that up to 95% of ash trees in the UK may eventually become affected by the disease.

Following the end of the recent COVID-19 lockdown, all Parish Office staff are working their normal hours in the Parish Office from 3rd December 2020.

Road Closure - Harp Hill 15th - 17th December 2020

Gloucestershire Highways have announced the planned road closure of Harp Hill from the junction with Greenway Road to the junction with Hales Road from 15th December to 17th December, to allow for drainage repairs.

Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road and emergency access will be maintained.

Closure for burials of the churchyard of St Mary's, Charlton Kings

The Secretary of State for Justice, after giving ten days' notice of his intention to do so, has, under the Burial Act 1853 as amended, made representations to Her Majesty in Council that burials should be discontinued in St Mary's Churchyard, Horsefair Street, Charlton Kings.
