Offers information, friendship and support to local people suffering with Parkinson's and their carers and families. Regular social activities and events are organised. The Group meets monthly on the last Tuesday of the month at St Mark's Methodist Church 3-4 .30 p.m.

Telecare can benefit people who are physically frail, have memory loss or need reassurance. A variety of equipment is available which may enable people to live independently and can hep with medication management, general safety and wandering or falls. It is free for those who meet the GCC eligibility criteria and others are able to seek advice about how to purchase or hire equipment.
