About me

I have lived in Cheltenham for over 50 years and in the Charlton Kings area for over 18 years, educated at Cheltenham Grammar School and University of Wales. Married with two adult children, one of whom attended Balcarras School. Most of my working life has been spent in the finance sector, specifically the banking and building society industry.

I have previously been a Parent Governor at Balcarras School, where I was Chair of the Curriculum Committee. I have recently retired and I am now a mentor at Balcarras School and a member of the Royal Voluntary Service.

Since retirement my interests now include gardening, swimming, walking and am a member of English Heritage.

Why I became a Councillor

To be honest, I was asked by a friend whom I respect. As I had retired this gave me further opportunity to give back to the community.
