Papyrus

Details:

Papyrus is a national organisation to prevent suicide in young people, under 35 years. Lines are open 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 2.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. at weekends and bank holidays. Provides confidential support and advice to young people thinking of suicide. Samaritans

Details:

Provides 24 hour support for people who are distressed, every day. Provides a telephone listening service, face to face support, schools outreach and prison outreach. Also provides a listening service for people who are worried about others. Samaritans listen and help people to talk through their troubles without telling them what to do, giving people space to be themselves.
